After working for nearly 20 years with BHP, Orica, Veolia and Transdev in various senior people, culture and change roles internationally, Donna Thibault launched Element to offer a unique contribution: shaping healthy developmental cultures; inspiring transformational change and helping leaders lift their sights to build a better future.

In our world there is increasing noise. The echo chamber of social media, whilst connecting people, seems to reinforce division. It is becoming a radical act to really listen. The quality of the listening ear shapes the conversation and changes both the speaker and the listener.

Connect to the larger context

Our world is becoming increasingly VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous). Nonetheless as humans we are wired to recognise relationship and our creative capacities when we work together are near limitless. May we see our context clearly and open ourselves to connection.

One of the latin roots of the word educate is "educere" meaning to “lead out”. The purpose of training or education isto bring out the qualities already within a person. We are reminded as developers of people that the strengths and qualities needed are there, ready to be evoked.
